Maalouf, Assaad Gebrael age 70, died unexpectedly in his home Sunday, January 15th. He was born March 10th, 1935 in Zahle, Lebanon. He immigrated to the United States December 1990 and worked at Joe's Market from 1992 until last Friday. He is survived by loving family; wife of 50 years, Zakie; daughter, Suzanne (Fadi) Bedros; sons, Gabby (Maggie), Majid (Nada), Issa (Suzanne), Elie, Ghassan (Mireille), David (Laura); grandchildren, Elie, Carine, Stephanie, Ghassan, Suzanne, Gabby, Victoria, Christopher; brother, Joseph; brother-in-law, Aziz Kairuz; and many friends. Preceded in death by sister, Salwa Kairuz. Funeral from the KOZLAK-RADULOVICH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1918 University Ave. NE Thursday 9:30 AM. Liturgy of Resurrection at ST. MARON MARONITE CATHOLIC CHURCH (600 University Ave. NE) at 10 AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5 to 8 PM and Incense Service 7 PM at the Funeral Chapel.
