Gary Drazan Obituary
Gary John Drazan, "Great Gary", peacefully returned to his Father in Heaven on March 1, 2016 from complications of a stroke.
Gary was born, March 14, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to John Frank Drazan and Dorothy Rachow. He joined the US Air Force which brought him to Utah where he met and married the love of his life, Helen Manning on June 6, 1955. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful Utah Temple. They had two wonderful children.
He retired as a civil servant from Hill Air Force Base. He enjoyed camping, fly fishing, reading, Western movies and his daily Top Stop visit with friends. Gary was a kind, caring, wonderful man, and a friend to all. He enjoyed life.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and granddaughter Cheralyn Drazan, brother and sister-in-laws Ray (Jean) Manning and Harold (LaDell) Manning. He is survived by his children, Conn Drazan, Taylorsville and Ann (Doug) Rand, Bountiful; six granddaughters; six great grandsons and three great granddaughters.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Davis Creek 1st Ward Chapel, 825 S. 50 E. Farmington, Utah. Friends may visit Friday, from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Sat. 9:30- 10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Interment Farmington City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Gary's name.
