Wayne was a wonderful friend...we managed to play some music & get into trouble quite a bit...also had Eddie in 'the band' now & then...last I heard from Wayne he wanted us to get together to write some tunes, that was an Email, maybe a couple weeks before he passed...will miss him...to me, Wayne was a 'star'...I always looked up to him & treasured the time we got to spend together!

Ken and I met Wayne back around 1977 when we were with Morris' show, just before we all went to Vegas. He didn't stay in vegas long, I think that's when he got married and moved to california. After that we would see him or work with him here and there or see him at a club and I would always talk him in to singing "Personality" for me, which he would with a big smile. Whenever I hear the song "Personality" now I smile because it brings back great memories of Wayne. Rest in Peace dear Wayne, love Gisele (Yates) and Ken

I came across this by accident,Wayne's band "The Devilles" was one of my first pro gigs in the early sixties,He Eddie and Willy taught me more about "the road"than any other musicians.Road musicians are the real thing,not the typical weekend players with the great gear,fancy cars and day jobs.I worked with tons of bands worldwide after the"Devilles" and always tried to get the guitar players to play like Wayne.They never did .Wayne was such a driving force when he played.No one has played like him since.Even though we only hung out a few times over the years he became my only true friend.I hope you finally found peace my friend. I am so sorry to hear about Wayne. I have thought about him so many times over past 50 yrs. I met Wayne back in the 50's when I lived in Vancouver. Also met his brother Eddie. Wayne and I became friends. I still have his 78 record that he gave me. I will always keep him close in my heart. My name is now carol Garcia. Back then, I was carol Ann Blair and (Tully) was my stepdads name. Wayne is resting now.
