I saw someone who looked like Max at the gym today. I think about Max often and sometimes wish his instagram and facebook was still running to look at old photos and read through old messages. In my attempt to search for these I stumbled upon this website again. So I thought I'd take a moment to comment that Max is still in my thoughts often.

Dear Marc and Lynn,
My heart goes out to you and your family with the loss of Max.
The fond memory of Max and Marc, as preschoolers, the day their moms took them to Sesame Place, and the fun we had, will be forever in my heart.

Max was my financial advisor. I meet him once in person before all this covid restrictions. We texted and talked often about our funds. He was so easy to talk to and he would always return calls and text me back. I didn't know him as long as many of you writing on this page . it's great to hear how loved he was. Rest easy Max I will never forget you. Sean

Dear Marc, Lynn and the rest of the Rose family, I worked with Max in the Doylestown Merrill Lynch office. Max was a great friend and colleague. Max was a wonderful human being and I miss him terribly. He was an old soul who was wise beyond his years. He always knew what to say if I or someone else was having a rough day, he just understood people. He was so caring, considerate, trustworthy and respectful to others. He worked very hard at his job and was on his way to being very successful at his job. My deepest condolences to family and friends of Max, you are in my prayers. To Max, please watch over all of us and I know you will!!! I miss you so much buddy!!! You were the best!!!

Max Rose was a special young man. He certainly did light up the room with his smile and great sense of humor that always made us laugh. Most amazing was Max’s incredible loyalty, not only to Matt but to Jimmy & the entire O’Neill family. His response after Jimmy’s accident, offering consistent love & support no matter how busy he may be, was incredible. He had more wisdom & understanding then most people his age. Never underestimate that despite his constant smile and ability to make us laugh, like an old sage, Max knew a lot about life and had already learned many tough life lessons. He was incredibly helpful in not only bringing our family joy but also in helping us through difficult times while surviving his own. I am so sad that we have lost “our” amazing Max, but am certain his love, support, genuine kindness and beautiful contagious smile will never be forgotten. Thoughts & prayers are with the Rose family.

Max was more than a friend of the Hill/O’Neill Family, he was a member of it. Our family has been through some incredibly hard times and Max was there with us through it all, ready to make anyone and everyone laugh and smile. The last time I saw Max was at a party for Jimmy, with a big goofy smile and surrounded by people who loved him. That is how I will remember Max Rose. We are all lucky to have known him and he will be missed. ❤

No matter the time or place, every time I spoke to Max I walked away with a smile. It was incredibly easy to tell that Max loved to make people laugh. My cousin Matt brought Max into all of our lives many years ago. He was much more to all of us than just a family friend... he was family. He always showed up whether it be for dinner, someones birthday, or a holiday, he was always there. He lit up the room with his big contagious smile every time he walked through the door and that is something I will truly miss.
Thank you Max for being there for all of us and for all the amazing memories we share. Nothing will feel right without you there but I know you will always be watching over us.
Sending all my love to the Rose Family. Thank you for sharing Max with us. He was an amazing person who will be deeply missed by so many.
Love you Max

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rose family.

Max Rose was always at the O'Neill family parties and everyone knew who Max was. Matt and Max were best friends since first or second grade and were a package deal. Where Matt was Max was right there next to him. Max was a true friend to many and told it like it was whether you liked it or not. Jimmy O'Neill loved when Max would come over to the O'Neill house because he made Jimmy smile and laugh very often. Max Rose truly cared about his people and when he asked you a question about your well being you could tell it was from the heart. He always looked you in the eye and stood confidently with a great smile. Max had the best dam laugh out of everyone I knew. I loved Max Rose as if he were my brother. Being with Max on a Sunday morning after a Saturday night party was always great to wake up to. He really was a positive person and brought joy to so many lives. We have a special group of young men and we always hung out at 902 creamery road in Newtown PA. Moving forward without Max Rose will be hard but his spirit will never die. Max Rose was an automatic invite in whatever event, trip, dinner, or party we were planning. My absolute favorite night with Max Rose was when we were both on my quad right after a snow storm at a property right off of Wrightstown road. We had 3 quads on the property and the moonlight was reflecting off of the snow. Max was on the back of my quad laughing hysterically as we were going around the property and passing by Matt O'Neill, Joe Chapman, and Ken Adelman. Shifting his weight around turns and calling out bumps, other quad riders, and listening to me shift gears was unforgettable! I can still hear Max's laugh in my head and I'll never forget that beautiful memory for as long as I live. I loved Max Rose and I am so grateful Max was on Jimmy and Matt's bus during our time at Sol Feinstone Elementary school. RIP to a real man who was always there for the O'Neill family. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.

I worked closely with Max at Merrill Lynch. Always eager to learn. Always greeting me with his infectious smile. Max, I will sorely miss your sense of humor and general serenity. You made this world a better place.
I know God has a special place for you in heaven. When I go for my runs at night, I will look in the sky and see your smiling face looking down at me. I know will be watching over me. I know you will be watching over all of us.
Rest well my friend.
God bless your family. God bless Olivia.

Max was such a special person. He brought such a positive energy to every gathering we had. Every time I was with him, I could not help but smile and laugh, he had such a good heart. He was always willing help my family in any way he could, and I will always be appreciative of that. Thank you Max for being the best addition to our Hill-O'Neill family, we will miss you so much. Sending all my love to the Rose family and Max's loved ones.

I am forever grateful for my friendship with max and the great friendships I have formed through him. His worry free attitude and appreciation for life has left us with so many great memories. Through the good and bad times in our friendship he always greeted me with a genuine smile. He loved his family very much that was obvious in the way he talked about them with such excitement. I have learned a lot from max and will live a better life because of his impact on me. Love you, Rest In Peace.
