FOUNTAIN HILL
Richard James Hatch, Jr., of Fountain Hill, PA, passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 59.
Rick, the son of Donna and Bernie Ferris, Richard Hatch Sr and the Late Patricia Hatch was born on September 14, 1961, in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was a devoted, loving and adoring Dad, Pop, son, brother, boyfriend, uncle, and friend. During his younger days, he enjoyed working on cars, hunting, fishing, boating and family trips. Most important to Rick was his family. He was employed at TOSS, where he valued his work, co-workers, and was regarded as family.
Rick was compassionate, always giving back and supporting his community as a strong leader. He did not judge others and always saw the good in people- a genuine, one of a kind guy. His smile and kind, loving spirit lit up a room. With heavy hearts, Rick will be missed and remembered by so many and was taken far too soon.
Rick is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Hilary & Matt Alexander, his granddaughter- Madison and soon-to-be granddaughter Hensley; his son- Scott Hatch and granddaughters- Dakota, Serenity, & Willow; his loving girlfriend Janet Morris; his parents Richard Hatch, Donna and Bernie Ferris; his siblings Tisa Hatch, BJ Ferris, & Louie Ferris; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Rick's sudden passing. We were friends at Notre Dame High School and he was my date to our senior prom. Such nice guy! My condolences to his family durning this sad time. I think of the last stanza of our Alma Mater: When our course of life has run, may we deserve to hear, "Well Done". Crusaders faithful, loyal, true to Mary's Gold and Blue. I'm sure he heard it!

I’ve not seen Richard for a long time but we went to LO Beers school together. He was the sweetest little person. Obviously we were only in 1st thru 5th grade! But I do remember our parents being friends. May you Rest In Peace Sending love and hugs to the family.
