Elisabetta La Marra

On Sunday, September 26, 2021, Elisabetta La Marra, in her 91st year, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. Elisabetta (nee: Di Cicco) La Marra was born June 4th, 1930 in Valleluce, Italy. Beloved wife for 49 years of the late Benedetto La Marra (1999). Loving mother of Alessandra (Angelo) Soave, Maria (Domenico) Soave, and her late son Carmelo (Rosemary) La Marra. Proud Nonna of Laura, Lisa (Joe), Benny (Lena), Paul, Bianca and Sonia. Great- grandmother of Giuliana and Anthony. Dear sister of the late Antonio (Assunta), the late Angela (late Marino), Rocco Di Cicco (the late Marta), Michele (Antonietta) Di Cicco, Filippa (the late Giovanni-Battista) Cuozzo and Francesca (the late Gino) Di Cicco of Valleluce, Italy. Sister-in-law of Antonio (the late Filippa) La Marra of London and Alessandro (Ann) La Marra of England. Elisabetta is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, England and the United States. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni-Battista Di Cicco and Filippa Pacitto, her father and mother-in-law Giovanni La Marra and Maria Cece and by her sister-in-law Caterina and Harry Smithson of England. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London, on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Marys Church, 345 Lyle St. at York on Friday, October 1st, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in Holy Family mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery, 806 Victoria St, London.
