MORTON, Betsy Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 7, 2006, Betsy Long Morton, wife of Robert Neil Morton. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Neil Morton are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Saturday, December 9, 2006 at One o'clock at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Mrs. Morton was born November 20, 1956 in Eden, North Carolina, the daughter of Dewey Roland Long and Ruth May Gibson Long Ayers. She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She was a Registered Pharmacist Assistant with NCS Healthcare. She is survived by her husband of Charleston, SC; her mother of Eden, NC; one granddaughter, Maisie B. Dube of Charleston, SC; four brothers, Dewey Long of Martinsville VA, Arthur long of Eden, NC, Robert Long of Fayetteville, NC and Jimmy Long of Eden, NC; two sisters, Alice Hobbs of Fayetteville, NC and Anne Atwater of Winston-Salem, NC.
