Dr Kurman was not my primary dentist at the office, but I struck up a friendship with him instantly when I learned both he and I were passionate YES fans. We talked at length about music and guitars. He was just a really nice and great person to talk to and genuinely kind and considerate. I learned of his passing on recently so I am sending condolences to his family and Dr Rosen. I feel really fortunate to have known him. I hope everyone he has touched passes along that same feeling to others. RIP - David Carlin

I learned of this tragedy only recently and I wanted to pay my respects. Dr Kurman was just a wonderful person. He and I hit it off talking about our favorite Band YES while in the office and we were instantly friends. We spoke in detail about guitars and music. I feel fortunate to have known him and my heart goes out to his family and to his friends. Rest in Peace and please let his example run through us and to all people we meet. Best - David Carlin

Dr. Kurman was more to me than a dentist. I saw him for 20 years and we connected, like friends do. We emailed each other. He was a caring doctor whose great sense of humor and cheerful demeanor actually made you want to go the dentist office. I was crushed to hear about his passing and will never forget this wonderful, kind, and spirited person. I'm lucky to have known him, and will forever miss him.

Know it’s been just about a year since the community lost a fantastic dentist and human being. Think about Dr. Kurman so much, and miss him even more when I am in the dental office! They are all great there, but NO ONE can ever replace him! After years of avoiding a dentist, once 7 years, once 9 years. He “made” me actually enjoy going back. A real miracle. He is so very missed. What a loss!! ❤

Dr. Kurman was one of the sweetest and funniest souls I have ever met. I have been going to him since I was a kid and I am 25 years old now. I looked forward to my checkups and our chats. Often times he would make me laugh so hard I'd almost cry. His loss is hard to come to terms with. My family and I will miss him greatly. Dr. Kurman was one of a kind and he will never be forgotten. My prayers go out to Dr. Gregory Kurman and his family during this hard time.

I had the honor of doing my dental assisting internship in the office of my moms dentist, Kaiser Rosen and Kurman. I was trained by one of the other dentist and also, grateful by Dr kurman. He was a wonderful person to be around. He made me look forward to coming into the office. He was my mothers dentist and she felt the same. My mom was always afraid to go to the dentist but dr kurman put her at ease in a way no other dentist could before. He was such a kind and gentle man, he never raised his voice and was almost always smiling. I was heartbroken when my internship there was over. I think I was too spoiled because I never worked for a dentist like him again and gave up dental for acting not too long after lol. He was one of a kind and truly a class act and just lovely man all around. I am so deeply sorry for his loss and I send my deepest condolences to all who loved him. He will be deeply missed and we will never forget him or his smile !
Sincerely

Dr.kurman has been my dentist for as long as I can remember. He was a great person. He always had a smile on his face or a silly joke. He was very observant, he always commented on my footwear. He would say, I just love your sneakers. I am going to miss him tremendously

Dr. Kurman was my dentist. I am forever broken hearted . Dr. Kurman always had a smile, a laugh and a way of comforting his patients. He was the best dentist with compassion for his patients that had a fear of dentists, such as myself. My sympathies go out to his family and the entire Kaiser, Rosen staff. RIP Dr. Kurman.
I hope your rocking out in the clouds Doc! Thank you for always being so kind! Rest easy!❤

"The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind."
Such a kind, gentle, caring man, full of life, laughter, and rock-n-roll, Dr. Kurman was the quintessential good guy. Though he will live on in the hearts of all those he has touched, the world lost a beautiful soul. We loved him, but God loved him more. Our hearts go out to his family, co-workers, and friends, and we will keep you all in our prayers. His presence in this world will be truly missed.
Rest in peace Doc.

My son and Greg's son, Tyler, went to the same Elementary school and played travel soccer together and that's how we met Greg and Merri. Greg was fun and always had a smile, spent many times on the sidelines watching soccer games and talking about life in general. He will be greatly missed. Our family would like to express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. RIP Greg.

Dr. Kurman was the best dentist ever. He made each and every visit so great with his sense of humor and how he made you feel so comfortable. He was one of a kind and our family is so saddened as we all felt we hit the jackpot with him being our dentist. He was so much more than just a dentist and had a wonderful way to connect on a personal level with each his patients. Our hearts go out to his family, work family and friends. He will be so truly missed. The DiFrancesco Family. Denise, Carmen, Sam, Lou.

My heart breaks for Dr. Kurman's family and friends as well as his Keiser Rosen Family. I have been a patient of Dr. Kurman's for many many years. Truly the kindest, most caring, joyful man. Always putting everyone at ease and making you feel like a friend.
I asked if he we help our niece Melanie who is blind and very, very fearful of dentists. Melanie immediately took to Dr. Kurman and whenever I was in for a visit he would ask about Melanie.
Dr. Kurman's absence in the lives of all who knew him is a deep loss and so painful.
I just can't believe such a beautiful soul is gone. We were all so blessed by his short life here with us. God bless and may he rest in peace. Truly a wonderful man.
Deepest most sincere condolences to all his loved ones.

Dr. Kurman made you feel like an old friend. Each visit we would catch up from where we left off. Travel stories, families, and current events. He would break out into song and then laugh at himself. He was a humble man full of joy. He took good care of me, my two daughters, one of my sons, my best friend, and coworkers. It was easy to recommend Dr. Kurman to all looking for a great dentist. We grieve with his family as well as his work family. Our hearts broke along with yours. May his rest well.

Dr. Kurman was my and my husband’s dentist for 20 years. He and I often discussed bands and concerts. We had the same taste in music. He used to brag about me to coworkers because I never needed to get numb first. I told him that was because of his gentle touch. We laughed a lot. I’m going to miss this happy, welcoming gentle man. I hope his family finds comfort in the knowledge that Greg was a well- loved man.

Dr. Gregory Kurman was my dentist for 20 years. He was more than my dentist. He was my very special friend. He made going to the dentist a pleasure. He always put me at ease, made me laugh, and relaxed. He would peak in the office waiting room and tell me that I'm sleeping again. He was a wonderful person, kind, generous, thoughtful, considerate, committed to the health and welfare of his patients. He was unforgettable and irreplaceable. My heart is broken at the great loss of my special friend. I pray that the God of All Comfort & Mercy will support his family through this tragedy, and make His Unfailing, Loving Presence known in an uplifting way. I am very grateful that my Heavenly Father brought Dr. Kurman into my life. In Loving Memory, Maria Costanza

Dr. Kurman connected with his patients on a personal level. Knowing that I hated dental work, he made an effort to make my experience enjoyable. He would tell me about a funny comedy sketch he had watched or a silly song he had heard. Like others, he remembered details about my family and my interests. My most memorable interaction with Dr. Kurman occurred during my last visit. I was sad because I was caring for my terminally ill mother. Dr. Kurman spent a great deal of time talking to me because he knew I was hurting. I do not recall exactly what he said, but his words brought me tremendous comfort. I wish strength and comfort for his family during this difficult time.

There are no words to express the sadness that myself and so many others are feeling after learning of the passing of Dr. Kurman. My heart is truly broken along with countless others. Gregg is someone who cannot be replaced. Sometimes in life, you meet someone who you just never forget. Gregg was one of those people. His kind, happy, loving, gentle spirit, is rare in this world we live in today. When you read the beautiful words of others, the one thing that stands out is how he never forgot. He remembered everything about you, your family, things that you were doing, he was simply amazing. I hadn't seen Dr. Kurman in many years. I used to be his patient back then for about 10 years. When I saw him for the first time just 3 weeks ago, he did not forget! He remembered so much about me, my family, he jumped up on the counter, started talking and it was like no time at all had passed. My deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers to his family, his wonderful co-workers, his patients, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing this extraordinary man. May his memory be for a Blessing. God's speed Dr. Kurman, may you rest in Heavenly peace. You are loved, you are missed...

We were so shocked and saddened to hear that Dr. Kurman has passed away. Dr. Kurman's laughter would fill the dental office. His good humor was contagious, and he always made us feel comfortable in the dentist chair and just happy to be there. We will miss his smiling face, his funny quips, and his skills as a dentist. Our hearts go out to his family and co-workers.

I knew Greg because he was my dentist for over 20 years but he was definitely my friend first. We had way more conversations about music and concerts than we ever did about my teeth. Our conversations just naturally continued over the years as we shared playlists and stories of shows that we’d been too. There was an instance when both of us at the same time were trying to play guitar. We swapped tips and info until we both realized we sucked and moved on. He told me more than once that he envied me greatly just because I saw Genesis with the original members. We talked a lot and laughed even more and he always made me feel comfortable and I feel privledged to have been his friend. He will be greatly missed.
To his wife, family, friends and staff, my heart goes out to you all as we try to fill the void left by Greg’s passing. May you all find peace in his memories
Rest In Peace My Friend

I've know Greg since Loesche elementary. Although his life was nowhere near complete, he accomplished many things: become a professional, got married, started a family, and left a legacy of memories for those who knew him and cared for him. “To know him is to love him” may be a commonly used phrase, but could not hold more truth than it does for Greg Kurman. There was not a time that I did not see or speak to Dr. Kurman that he was not his energetic, kind, and caring self. Whether it was a dental question or a personal conversation, he made every moment completely comfortable and enjoyable. I always looked forward to seeing him. Sending our love and prayers to his family and his tight knit work family. He touched so many lives just by being himself. We will deeply miss him and the impact he has made on our lives. He certainly was one of a kind.

Greg was my dentist for the last decade and not only was he a dentist,
he was an incredible person. He was your friend when sitting in the chair and made sure you were comfortable the entire visit. He would ask questions all the time about how our family was doing and remember everything we talked about. I had an issue before with my tooth and he gave me his person cell phone number to reach out to him if I had any issues and called me to check in and make sure all was well. He will be missed in our family. Our prayers are with his family and friends.

Dr Kurman was a true “Mensch”.
He watched my children grow up in his dental chair and shared their live of 70s music and was so proud that both of my boys were in ZBT.
My daughter saw him two weeks ago and shared his kindness and warmth with her.
He remembered everything they’ve talked about over the years, even when he had his hand in their mouth he understood exactly what they said. We are all so extremely sad and devastated by his loss.
Mrs Goldman,
You raised a truly kind, compassionate and wonderful son.
The Carroll family sends our sincere condolences and prayers for strength to Dr. Kurmans whole family.
