I knew Jeff for over 30 years. We ran many trips on four wheelers and snowmobiles in the White Mountains whether trapping, hunting or just enjoying that great country. I worked for BLM there, but became friends with Jeff through mutual friends. I would run into him in the winter while grooming trails and he would follow along and hang out for the day. While working out in Nome Creek on the road and campgrounds that he frequented, he´d always wave me down to chat for awhile, see what was new or
Just say hello while he was out looking for antler sheds or just enjoying the peace and quiet and wild scenery. He was a lover and master of the "woods" and had a great fondness for the White Mountains, his stomping grounds. I learned a lot about that country and much of his history there that he shared. I will miss him dearly.

My condolences to Cindy, Brent, Scott, & Katie. Jeff was a great big brother. I have wonderful memories of playing baseball, kickball, & football in the yard; swimming in the lake; messing around in the creek; riding bikes; & the endless game of Monopoly. I will miss knowing he out there in this world.

I have so many memories of Jeff growing up. I was super saddened to hear about his passing the glad I was a part of his life in Wisconsin because I just remember always doing something with him - going ice fishing, snowmobiling, or just trekking through the woods behind Aunt Karen and Uncle Bob´s house! Remembering the good times makes the loss a little easier - prayers and hugs to all of his family
