Maureen was a friend from the 1980's to the present time. We enjoyed wine and supported the Tri-Cities Wine Society and the annual Wine Festivals, and small tasting groups. We supported the Reach Museum as foundation members and volunteers. She and I enjoyed a trip to the Ashland Shakespeare festival. Maureen did much more as an educator at the Reach and with its predecessor Richland's CREHST museum, and also with the mammoth dig.

Maureen was highly respected and admired by all who had the good fortune to work with and learn from her. Beyond the professional relationship, I'm so glad I'm one of the many who got to enjoy her company. I will always remember Maureen with deep affection.
