Jerry Stallings Obituary
BROOKLAND - Jerry Don Stallings, 77, of Brookland, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023. He was born April 4, 1945, to Willard and Marie Hasty Stallings.
Jerry was a dedicated truck driver who worked hard and loved to garden. He enjoyed spending time with his family and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Eva "Bert" Stallings, a son, Jimmy Don Stallings, grandchild, Jonathon Bell, twin brother, Larry Lon Stallings, and brother, Billy Ray Stallings.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Michael (Tanya) Stallings of Brookland; daughters, Patty (Scott) Bell of Brookland and Jennifer (Scott) Bushong of Bono; sisters, Barbara Purcell of Paragould and Wilma Stallings of Cave City; brother, Donald Stallings of Brookland; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation and services were Monday at Heath Funeral Home with David Stallings officiating. Burial was private.
Pallbearers were Scott Bushong, Scott Bell, Nathan Knight, Benton Stallings, Deitrich Fields and John Burke.
Honorary pallbearers were Cash Knight and Dante Bushong.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
