Ronald S. Bayles, 65, of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, a U.S. Navy veteran who served until his retirement as commander in 1981, loving father of Stuart Bayles and Lawrence E. Bayles, died at a local nursing home on Monday, January 21, 2002. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2002, 10 a.m., at Hafey Funeral Home, 494 Belmont Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Alzheimer's Association - Massachusetts Chapter, P.O. Box 2873, Springfield, MA 01101-2873. Arrangements entrusted to Hafey Funeral Home, Springfield, Massachusetts.
