It's shocking that Paul, so full of energy and blessed with the love of life was taken so quickly. I will always remember Pauls warm smile, his sense of humor and his genuine interest in helping other people. Paul was the kind of person we should all strive to be. We are grateful to have known him and are offering our prayers and condolences to family and friends.

Warm Regards,

Dear Betty,

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. The world has lost a wonderful man, but another bright star has been added to the heavens for all to enjoy. We met you and Paul several years ago through Phyllis and John Biggar and enjoyed celebrating the Fourth of July Parades and shooting water from the fire hose on the boat. What a fun-loving guy and his beautiful wife...God bless you and your family. Love, Vickie and Monty Evans

As another Cisco High School ex, I, too, remember Paul Woods. I was several years behind him in school, but he was one of the handsome young high school boys whom we admired! His parents were good citizens of Cisco and evidently passed on their legacy of community spirit to Paul. Please accept my sympathy in your loss.

Betty, Getting to know you and being with you and Paul at the last few Cisco Class Reunions has been very special to me. Paul seemed to enjoy the reunions so much and did so much to make them more fun. We appreciated his extra help. It is hard to give up another class mate.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

My husband, E.L. was a classmate of Paul's & played football with him. I was a cheerleader at Cisco High School & later a Majorette (going to all the football games)

We enjoyed a visit with him at an all class reunion a number of years ago.

I recall a Model T car he had with a "rumble seat" that we all use to pile into. Those were the days when a gallon of gas went a long way! Our condolences to the family.

Fondly,

Wilma Wayne Whitten Smith and

E. L. Smith, Jr.

I was stunned this morning to hear of Mr. Wood's death. I am very sorry that he passed away so suddenly. I only had the immense pleasure of knowing Mr. Woods for a relatively short time; however, from the first time I met him last September to the last time I saw him this April, he was such a gentleman with a huge heart, full of fun and energy, and so giving and interested in me and my wellfare. My contact with him was through his and Betty's generosity to his alma mater. He was quite a philanthropic man to many places that he cared about. My thoughts will be with Betty, Mark, his daughter and grandchildren, and his extended family. Very fondly, D'Anne Harmon, TTU

although visits with Paul and family were not as frequent as I would like, he had a unique and warm way of lighting up the room. A very special person with a very special family. Godspeed Paul.

It is hard for me to realize that I have lost one of my best friends. Woodsy was a great asset and example of providing friendship and love to everyone he touched. Words can't express how much I am going to miss my friend of over 40 years. We had some great times together that I will always treasure and remember. Goodbye old friend, I know you will be making some new friends in heaven and sharing your love with everyone you meet. I hope to see you again some day.
