James L. Trimm

James L. Trimm, 43, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Sunday, May 8, 2005, at the Iuka Hospital. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a police officer in Tishomingo and Alcorn counties for over 15 years. He served in the U. S. Army and enjoyed spending time with his children. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Shane Evetts. Interment will follow in Tuscumbia Cemetery. Survivors include 2 ex-wives, Brenda Fortune of Corinth, MS, and Jeryl Trimm of Burnsville, MS; his mother, Tressie Trimm of Rienzi, MS; 2 sons, Wesley Trimm and Jonathan Trimm, both of Burnsville, MS; 3 daughters, Deanna Pittman and husband, Michael, of Iuka, MS, Jennifer Trimm and fiancé, Chris Webb, of Iuka, MS; and Jessica Trimm of Burnsville, MS; 3 brothers, Michael Trimm and wife, Donna, of Corinth, MS, Johnny Trimm and wife, Myra, of Rienzi, MS, and William Trimm and wife, Brenda, of Corinth, MS; 2 sisters. Teresa Springman and husband, Steve, of Iuka, MS, and Kathy Bullock of Burnsville, MS; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Trimm; and a brother, Jimmy Dixon.
