I was so sad to hear today of Mrs Kimball's passing. I was delighted to see her last summer. I told her at the time that she hadn't changed since 1960 when she used to try to get me to eat oatmeal when I stayed overnight with Lynn! She still had that great smile, too. Although I had seen her rarely since high school, I feel I've lost my second mom. My thoughts are with all of her family.

Always appreciated the joyful conversations with Aunt Edith - Most recently at last summer's special 65th wedding anniversary for Virginia and Earl. Also, at a previous family gathering at Don Corson's Cloverhill Farm in New Jersey. But Edith's travels expanded farther than I could possibly have kept up with and I feel fortunate to have met up with her on these occasions. She had meaningful relationships with many people. My condolences to you.

Edith was one of the first people to greet me when I began attending the Union Congregational Church. She made me feel welcome, and was one of the reasons I continued to attend and eventually join the church in Union. She was a warm and friendly lady, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Edith always greeted me with a hug, warm smile and a "how's Molly" whenever we should meet. She always made me feel as though I was still a vital part of Union Village. Her friendship with my Mom has been priceless. Edith was community. She leaves our lives upon a foundation of kind Hearted Spirit. She will be missed.

Anyone who had Aunt Edith in their lives was fortunate, She was a modest, appreciative lady with much knowledge to share. We particularly looked forward to reading her vivid descriptions of the many trips she has taken. This precious lady will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Kimball has always been an inspiration to so many of the people she touched throughout the years. She and the ladies of Union Congregational Church have been mentors to me. I will never forget all that she has meant to me personally and how she gave so willingly for so many years to the young people of our Church. I hope we will all strive to meet her example in how we lead our own lives.

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Edith. My sincere sympathy goes out to her extensive family and many friends, in this small village where she devoted her whole life.
