"And as 4 U, Troy Donahue, I know what U wanna do"! A great line from the song "Look @ Me I'm Sandra Dee" from the movie "GREASE" sung by Stockard Channing as "Rizzo". Proof that Troy Donahue will never B 4gotton! Continue 2 Rest In Peace Troy! Just a fan of yours.

I remember he had a white miniature Poodle and lived in a Large white 2 story oblong house. Very plain with very little furniture, just lots of empty rooms. Last time I saw Troy was in 1961-2 when we were driving down a blvd, Sunset maybe,in N.Hollywood. I was 18. We had been going the same way til we came to the stop light. I was in my 1956 red Chevy convertible and he was in his white convertible. We both had our tops down. As the light changed, we looked at each other, smiled and waved. He turned right, I turned left. Great memory, Corine Zsiga

Troy Donahue, I will never forget as a young boy seeing you & Suzanne sitting on that mountain top in that restaurant in the movie Rome Adventure listening to Emilio sing "AL DI LA". I think of you, Suzanne, Emilio & that movie often, what a great memory! Continue to rest in paradise. Although it's been years since his passing, condolences to all of Troy's family & friends. :-(

Thank you for talking to me in Alabama and making me feel great that day. All the girls were all around you and you pointed to me and said come here when they were going to interview you there at the park. I was so shy and my heart said yes but I couldn't bring myself in front of that camera. Thinking of some highlights in my life and you were and always be one of the greatest. You had a very caring way about you. Thinking of you today as you were getting ready for a new film. I being a silly young girl ask you if I could kiss you and you said yes. I carry that in my heart. You had long hair parted in the middle and a mustache. I will always remember you. God bless your family and I hope one day I see you in heaven. your friend Vickie

For Troy...a blond, blue-eyed heartthrob of the 1950s and '60s who starred in teen romances like "A Summer Place" and "Parrish.
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

Hey, Troy!
No one's written here since 2001? Does it really matter anyway? Those who remember and truly care, always remember and truly care, and nothing else matters, not in the whole scope of life on planet earth and beyond.
You will always be remembered for being an exceedingly inspirational, beautiful, noble, compassionate, humorous soul and friend--you were always there when others needed you--and of course a very sexy actor/persona with an invaluable message for the world.
You will always be missed and loved!
Best of everything always!
Thank you for everything...till we meet again...

Sunday night we heard the news about you. I am sincerely grieved and my thoughts go back to your films directed by Delmar Daves. Delmar Daves saw something in you that the critics didn’t. There are a lot of us out there who also saw what director Daves saw. You represented that slightly shy, slightly naive brooding All-American youth that somehow unjustly outlived his usefulness on the screen many years ago. You had your day in the sun however short-lived that time was. Yet you brought many of us happiness and a hope for the future. You thrived at a time that was so fleeting that one wonders if it ever really existed. It did. Earlier on Sunday I was driving by the Congregational Church in Essex with my daughter where the wedding scenes for PARRISH were filmed and we stopped a few minutes just to take notice. When we heard the news that night I saw a tear in her eye. I now wonder about those few minutes. The day is coming to an end. It is dark outside now. Tonight I will think of all those that were touched by you. You first touched me many years ago when I was young. You touched my daughter too. You have brought a lot of happiness into our home through the years. PARRISH holds a special place for many of us in Connecticut. I just want to say thank you. You will be missed. Godspeed.

I can't begin to imagine what my teen years would have been like w/o Troy Donahue in them. Every girl wanted a guy like him and in turn, alot of guys wanted to be like him.
Clean-cut, sincere and caring, at least that is what we saw of him.
His time here with us was good, in spite of his "valleys". We will miss him more now, just knowing that he is gone. We mourn with his family and friends.

When Troy D. was in the movies it was during my impressionable teenage years. He was caring and gentle, like prince charming should be. I will always remember him young and handsome, he totally enchanted me....may he rest in peace. His life may have been short, but he made many women happy with his smile and those beautiful eyes.

To Troy's family, friends and especially his children and Zheng, I couldn't believe Troy was 65. It just represents to me how precious, fleeting and short life is. I am 47, and Troy reminds me so much of the innocence and simplicity of the 50's and 60's. I hope my late sons have a chance to meet him in Heaven, and say hi for me as well. God Bless and I wish all of you peace, love and innerstrength. My Anthony told my wife that he was happy there, I'm sure Troy will be also. It is we who grieve and suffer. Michael Amato
