Joseph Hodges

HODGES, Joseph SUMMERVILLE - Joseph A. Hodges, 65, died February 1, 2007. The funeral will be 12:00 noon, Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in Springtown United Methodist Church, Smoaks. Burial will follow in Greenpond Cemetery, Smoaks. Mr. Hodges was born in Colleton County. He was the son of the late Charlie and Tisha Hodges. He was educated in the public schools in Colleton County. He furthered his education at Claflin University earning a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics. He retired from Wappingers School District in Wappingers, NY, after many years of service. He was a member of Springtown UM Church. Survivors are: his wife, Pauline Hodges; two daughters, Janee Faulk of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Tanya Hodges of Summerville; and a brother, Fred Hodges of Woodbridge, VA.
