Grundsted, Robert M. age 80, of Plymouth, formerly of Crystal passed away Feb. 6, 2007. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Virginia; daughters, Sherrie (Tuck) Thomas & Nancy (Steven) Knutson; grandchildren, David (Lisa), Ashlie & Lindsay Thomas and Jon Robert Knutson; brother, Donald (Jeanne) Grunsted; other relatives and friends. Graduate of Stout Institute (Menomonie, WI) in Industrial Education and from the Univ. of MN with a MA degree. Started working in the Industrial Arts Dept for School District #281 before becoming Director of Transportation. Bob was appointed assistant principal in 1962 of Carl Sandburg Junior High and later principal of Plymouth Junior High where he spent the rest of his career before retiring in 1985. He was a volunteer at the Henn. Co. Govt. Center and a Big Brother. Charter member and past president of the North Hennepin Kiwanis Club and board president at Gramercy Senior Co-op. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling. He was admired for his sharp wit and sense of humor. His quiet and steadfast integrity set an excellent example to all. We love you and will miss you! Service Friday, 11 AM at Elim Lutheran Church, 40th & W. Broadway, Robbinsdale. Private interment Glen Haven. Visitation Thursday, 5-7 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th & W. Broadway. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Elim Lutheran Church, 3978 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale, MN 55422. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511

The family of David Mrocek would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. My dad Dave was a reading teacher at Plymouth Jr. High for many years, and left to pursue his own goals. I know he respected him very much. As children of David My brother Dan and myself Lee Ann attended Plymouth all three years. He served us both as our principle, and we thought alot of him. My dad is out of the country on business right now, but I know he would want to express his sympathies, and prayers for your family.
