Virginia Arlene Webster Obituary
HUDSON - Virginia Arlene Webster, age 92 years, of Hudson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at her home. Born Nov. 25, 1925, near Monroe, Mich., and spent most of her time in Hudson. Graduated from Hudson High School in 1943. Married Orlo Webster in 1946; he proceeded her in death on May 16, 1976. They moved to Utica, Mich., for three years and then three years in Milford, Mich. Virginia and Orlo received their real estate license from MSU and moved back to Hudson in 1970. While in Utica, Virginia worked for Ray Real Estate, and in Milford she worked for Callan Real Estate. She spent the remainder of her career in Hudson working for Collins Real Estate and Darr Real Estate along with managing multiple rental properties in the Hudson area.
Virginia was a long-time member of Open Door Bible Church in Hudson. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Steve (Nancy) Webster of Morenci, Mich., and Roger (Evana) Webster of Livonia, Mich.; grandchildren, Patricia (Donat) Ratell of Rives Junction, Mich., Brad (Megan) Webster of Morenci, Mich., Nick (Leah) Webster of Oceanside, Calif., and Brady (Amanda) Webster of Fishers, Ind.; great-grandchildren, Alaina and Ava Webster, Brendan and Lucas Ratell, Claire and Olivia Webster and Nora and Lucy Webster; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hilda (Fisher) Peterson, and siblings, Richard Peterson, Herbert Peterson, Evelyn Bradstreet and Robert Peterson.

Funeral services for Virginia will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, at Open Door Bible Church in Hudson with the Rev. Cary Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 t0 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson and Monday at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Memorials are suggested to Open Door Bible Church, Rollin Baptist Church or Freedom Farm Bible Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Condolences and messages of comfort can be left at www.brownvanhemert.com.
