on 17th February 2021
aged 96 years.
Much loved by Susan, Peter,
Jenny and James, Janet,
Richard and Sam.
She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
The funeral service is to take
place at 11.30am on Thursday
4th March at Christ Church, Fulwood, Preston, followed by interment at St John Baptist Church, Broughton, Preston.
Family flowers only please. Donations to The British Red Cross via the funeral directors.

I am Jim Walker and was the last regular usher to look after Judge Holt at Preston Court. I found her warm, witty and friendly and very kind to the staff. She could be hard on counsel who deserved it but she was respected by everybody and feared by a few. She was a grand lass.

I am saddened to hear of Judge Holts death, I did not know her personally but do remember her in the company of Mr John Budd Solicitor of Blackpool and his wife Joyce (I think)in the 1980's when I was Articled at John Budd & Co. I remember recognising that they had a fondness and strong friendship for each other. She came to open up the revamped offices after a fire and her presence was commented on by many there. She was a doughty character and will be missed that I am sure. Requiescat in pace.
