Mrs. Jeanne Lautier Warkentin; Adored wife, mother and grandmother
Litchfield - Jeanne Lautier Haddad Warkentin, 75, a resident of Gainesville, VA, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven surrounded by loved ones throughout her brief battle with cancer.
Jeanne was born March 7, 1936, and grew up in Litchfield, CT. She was the wife of William E. Warkentin and the widow of Norman Haddad. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth (Betty) Pruner and Roger Lautier, her son Stephen Haddad and nephew David Ullrich.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Steve Bunnell of Cincinnati, OH, and son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Anne Haddad of Sandy Hook, CT. In addition to her children, she is survived by her three grandchildren whom she adored, Stephen Peconge of Cincinnati, OH and Jennie and Charlie Haddad of Sandy Hook, CT. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Al Ullrich of Port Orange, FL and Warren, CT, along with her niece Carrie Poulos and family of Danbury, CT. In addition, Jeanne is survived by her husband Bill's children, grandchildren, siblings, and their families.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 2pm at The United Methodist Church of Litchfield, 69 West Street, Litchfield, CT with burial at East Cemetery, Litchfield, CT. A reception will follow at La Cupola Ristorante & Inn, 637 Bantam Road, Litchfield CT.
