Deanna Goehring, 75, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018 with her family by her side. Deanna was born in Stockton, CA on Christmas Eve 1942, the daughter of Robert and Doris Black.
Deanna grew up with her younger sister, Karen, in Clements, CA. She graduated from Lodi High School where she met Lyle Goehring. Deanna and Lyle married in 1964 and raised two daughters. She worked as an administrator at Mokelumne River School for 30 years.
Deanna enjoyed many artistic hobbies. She painted with oil paints, quilted and played the piano. She spent many hours quilting with friends and creating special homemade gifts. Travel with friends became a highlight for her in recent years and she always had the next trip planned.
Deanna was an active member of the Woman's Club of Lodi where she developed many supportive friendships.
A graveside memorial tribute will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Harmony Grove Cemetery, 11455 E. Locke Road, Lockeford, CA 95237. Flowers are welcome for delivery to Herberger Family Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, Elk Grove 916-686-1888. In addition, donations can be made to support Gregory Houck's efforts to raise funds for The ALS Association Greater Sacramento Chapter.
