Earl Rieger Obituary

Earl Stanley Rieger passed away peacefully surround by his family on July 11, 2025, just shy of his 95th birthday.
Earl, born on August 2, 1930, to George and Magdalena, was the youngest of 12. He grew up in Lodi, CA. While working at Woods Cannery he met his wife, Alliene. He served in the Army and was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge. He retired as a machinist from Campbell Soup in 1992.
Earl and Alliene had four children. They enjoyed traveling and hosting family gatherings at their home. Earl had many hobbies and skills; he was an avid volleyball player and never missed a chance to watch a good western.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife Alliene, his parents and siblings, son-in-law, and grandson.
He is survived by his children Debbie Frame, John (Kathie) Rieger, Cindy (Bud) Dunnett, Jennifer (Bruce) Baird, 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his companion Joyce.
A celebration of life will be held on July 23, 2025, at 11:30 am at Vintage Church in Lodi, CA. Lodi Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
