Clifford Derrick Obituary
Clifford spent a little time as an EMT with his brother, Marvin in his younger years before choosing his lifelong profession as a maintenance mechanic at Pacific Coast Producers in Lodi for over 25 years. When they closed his division in Lodi he started work at Silgan Containers in Modesto in the same role, where he worked until recently.
He loved camping and road trips. His favorite places to visit were Death Valley, Yellowstone, and long trips to see his family in the Midwest.
Clifford was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also an OG member of the XPCP Fantasy Football League (Cliffhangers), and a former season ticket holder and lifelong fan of the 49ers.
Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Frances Derrick; and brother, Andrew. He is survived by his children, Andrew Derrick, Brandon Derrick and Jaymes Derrick; brother, Marvin (Kathy) Derrick; nieces, Talor and Frances; nephews, Caleb and Matt; as well as his beloved dog, Trixie.
Clifford's service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 26 at Cherokee Memorial.

My first roommate when going to Delta College in Stockton. Marvin visited our apartment (Cherokee gardens) a couple of times. I recall Marvin was in medical school. Cliff was funny. He had a Monty Python style of humor. Cliff always had my back.

Clifford and my brother Jon gave me a ride to school every day during my freshman year at Tokay. He and Jon were good soccer players and had my back on the old Tokay zHigj "quad". He was a very funny guy. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I worked with Cliff at Pacific Coast Producers ever since he started. He was a fun guy to be to work. My condolences to his family and lived ones.

So sorry to hear of Clifford's passing. We were elementary and middle school classmates and also worked togehter at Pacific Coast Producers during my summer breaks from College. I will always remember is dry sense of humor and the good times we had as classmates.
