Laurel was a beautiful lady, so kind and sincere, I worked with her at Vinewood School for many years, Such great memories. And of course would run into her at many resturants in the area. She always had a wonderful smile and a big hug. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I am so sorry I missed her celebration of life.

As a younger Clements Buckaroo I remember Laurel as a super nice beautiful person who always took time to say Hello to us kids younger than her. I also remember her dad Tom dressing me down once when I was riding on a trail ride with the club and I was haphazardly riding my horse too fast stirring dust for the other riders. We were a large family of Clements people with roots that went way back so one persons kid was like everyone else´s kid.

She was my very first Teacher at Houston School in 1966. I remember she was very nice and she always dressed real nice, with class. Since she was my first Teacher sometimes I would wonder whatever happened to her. I see she had a long life, that´s good. I thank you Mrs Steely for teaching me how to write my name. May you rest in peace.

I worked with Laurel at Clements and Vinewood as a School Psychologist. It was a privilige to work with her. Years later she was my daughters kindergarten teacher. Condolences. RIP.
