LaVerne Gondry Obituary
She later divorced Wilbur but they remained on friendly terms for the rest of their lives. She married Robert Gondry and they enjoyed traveling and taking cruises together until he passed.
LaVerne worked for the San Joaquin County Treasurer's Office for 17 years. In retirement she stayed very active in her bowling league, playing cards and bunko and watching the Sacramento Kings. She enjoyed her eight grandchildren immensely often joining in on their shenanigans-especially on our family vacation last summer.
She is survived by her brother Kenny Sieving and her four children Vickie Delph (Jeff Hawkins), Duane (Karen) Delph, Benjamin Delph (Brandy Hawkins) and Barbara (Mike) Wahl. Her eight grandchildren Zoe Papas, Evan, Delph, Paige Delph, Bryson Delph, Alex Delph, Ryan (Avery) Wahl, Amanda Wahl and Christina Wahl along with several nieces and nephews in Ohio.
Donations in her memory can be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Stockton or the Loel Senior Center in Lodi (loelcenter.org)
Services will be held on May 30, 2025 at 11:00 at Zion Lutheran Church, 808 Porter Avenue, Stockton, CA.
