Ruth passed away peacefully at her daughters home on January 5, 2021, at the age of 95. She was born near Butte, MO, in 1925. Ruth worked as a welder on war ships, took flying lessons (then was afraid to fly) and for most of her career she and our dad owned Salt Transportation and she was the office manager.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her oldest daughter, Sharon; her brother, Bill; and both brother/sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her oldest son, Thom; youngest daughter, Diane; sister, Pat; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The gravesite services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 19, 2021 at Cherokee Memorial, 14165 N Beckman Rd. in Lodi. In leu of flowers, any donation will be appreciated to Seva Hospice, (209)846-9488.
