My prayers and condolences go out to the entire Smith family. May your memories comfort you and your faith continue to guide you. Officer Courtney F Smith is an unsung hero who didn't seek the spotlight for his positive deeds. He took the time to share his wisdom and offer support to me as a Rookie Police Officer in 1989. He recruited me to be a member of the Westchester/Rockland Guardians which he continued to be a member, whether active or inactive he was a Guardian for life.
