Thomas P. Golden, a Lab Technician for Fairway Testing in Stony Point, died on August 3, 2008 at Nyack Hospital. He was 57 Thomas was born on March 30, 1951 in Boston, MA to the late William and Cipe Pineles Golden. Thomas grew up in Stony Point and graduated from Rockland Country Day School in 1969 then went on to attend Berkely School of Music from 1970-1971. Thomas enjoyed playing as well as listening to Rock and Roll Music. He was an avid Guitar and Bass player and played in various local venues in the area. He was a die hard New York Yankee Fan and a collector of World War II Memorabilia. On June 25, 1989 he married Carole Murtagh in their Stony Point Home. Survivors include his devoted wife Carole of Stony Point, loving son Miles of Stony Point , his mother and father-in-law Matthew and Maura Murtagh of Stony Point, his sister-in-law Marie and her husband Scott Palmer of Nyack, and his nephews Kyle and Matthew Palmer. He was predeceased by his son William Golden in 1992 and his parents. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at T.J McGowan Sons GARNERVILLE.
