REICHENBACH, WALTER ROLAND SR., of Eagle Creek in Owen County passed away on November 23, 2013 from complications at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was born to Charles and Mary Reichenbach in Stanford Ky. on October 14, 1923. He was an Army veteran serving during World War II, retired from General Electric after 32 years of service and was a charter member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Louise and son Charles.
He leaves behind his wife Lula Sharp; three sons, Walter Jr., Michael ( Bonnie ) and Stephen ( Rita ); eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A prayer service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford Ky. Visitation will be Monday from noon-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be directed to Down Syndrome of Louisville.
