GLENN, ROBERT E. "BOB," 93, of Louisville, passed away Saturday December 8, 2012 with his family by his side.
Bob was founder and president of B & B Abrasive Company, worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company and Carborundum, was an Elder Emeritus at Beargrass Christian Church and a Mason for more than 70 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Bertha M. Ferguson Glenn; sister, Helen Moynan; and nieces, Judy Becker, Gwyn Jones, Jennifer Phelps and Lynnette Pfau (David).
Funeral will be 11a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road with entombment in Louisville Memorial Garden East. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions to The Smile Train or Beargrass Christian Church.

I first met Bob in the early 1970's when he was calling on Multi-Metals where I worked. When I went to work at Atlas Machine I saw that Bob called on them also. I bought my abrasives from him, we had lunch on several occasions, played golf together. Bob was a friend of mine. I miss him.

I will always remember Bob for his marvelous smile and laugh. He and Bertha were so much fun to be around.
