RENDER, BUD, 87, passed away October 1, 2013 at home.
Early in his working career, he was a firefighter for the Louisville Fire Department, and retired as an order processor for American Air Filter. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; brother, Willie (Buddy); daughter, Sheri (John); three grandchildren, Michelle (Dave), Jamie (Jennifer) and Troy (Cheri); and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with entombment at Resthaven. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus or to Supporting Heroes.

Betty and family: We are so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. We have a lot of Round Dance memories of the two of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
