Steve was an outstanding man. We worked together for 27 years. Steve was in my District in Florida at the end of our career with Boots, Boots/Flint, Knoll and finally Abbott. Steve was extremely loyal, trustworthy and proved daily hard work means success. Its difficult to believe its been 9 years. My wife and I went on several company trips with Steve. We always enjoyed his positive energy.

Thank you for posting a message on my dad’s obituary guest book, Steven Age. It has helped my brother & me deal with his sudden passing to see all the lives he was a part of—all the people he made an impression upon.
Please go forth in this life with the energy of my father. He will be missed, but his spirt can live on in us all.
Blessings,
Michael Age

I just heard of Steve's passing. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the chance to meet you, but he spoke of his sons, and sisters often. We dated about two years ago and Steve was always full of energy. He would call on our office and everyone just loved him, and his bright spirit. He was looking forward to retirement, I know he is at peace.
Steve helped guide me back to the church after many years away. I will always remember him for that.
Peace be with his family.

Dear Ursula, Margie, Michael, Nick, Josh, and Family,

How fortunate we all are to have had Steve in our lives!

Steve was such a wonderful and caring person... He enlightened the hearts of many with his advice and his actions. His enthusiasm, optimism and passion for life rubbed off on all of us - his friends at Abbott.

As we remember him, may the memory of his laughter always echo in our hearts and bring us comfort.

Love,
Maggie Feiler

Carolyn,
I am so sorry for the loss your brother. Both of my 2 (older) brothers are gone & there is only us 3 sisters now. I have thought of your family often, as I after moving away from the neighborhood I moved back to Kelly Way & lived there for 13 years. I used to see your dad walking & often thought of the Age family. I remember Steven (he was very handsome) walking to his job at Ponderosa (as we did after him.) He is gone at too young of an age, making me very sad & thinking of my brothers gone at age 23 & 56. Thinking of you, Marsha & your mom.

Dearest Ursula,

There really are no words I can offer to relieve the pain and emptiness you feel. I never had the privilege of meeting your darling fiance face to face, yet because Jan and I invested much time praying for you and Steve, I humbly feel I can call him my friend. While the shock of his untimely death still resonates through us all, it soothes and comforts those grieving to know he is sitting in the presence of his Lord and Savior, whose life Steve modeled and exemplified. I look forward to the day when I meet this brother "in Christ" of mine and shake his hand. Many, many people are joined with you, Josh, and Steve's entire family in heart as we share your mourning and grief.

May the peace of our sovereign God wash over you and Josh until the three of you are reunited again in our heavenly, eternal home.

With my deepest sympathy,
Karen Guidry (Jan's sister-in-law)

Steve always put things in such a positive perspective and centered around the Lord. Even when my husband met him for the first time he too knew what a down to earth genuine person he was. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. With such a sudden passing it is hard to underestand why such a good soul was taken so soon. He is in heaven now and we all now have another angel watching over us. My thoughts and prayers for strength and peace for your family go out to you.

To me, Steve is "The Voice" that gave us peace. ! He was selected by the entire organization to keep everyone updated on happenings with our business network. He gave us all peace of mind that we didn't need to constantly check because he would be the first to respond with a message when something happened. At the end of every message, he would Bless us all and now we want to Bless him and his family in their journey to peace. Thank you Steve for being such a great partner.

I was sad to hear of Steve's passing and at such a young age. We go back to the 70's and I had the opportunity to work directly with him-what a joy, in our newly created hospital sales force back in the early 90's.

Mike, I am sorry for the sudden loss of your father. Please know you're in my thoughts and I wish I had the opportunity to meet your father, as it seems he touched quite a few lives in a very positive way. From what I read before my posting here you can feel how much he and his life meant to others that did know him.

Uncle Steve was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. The world lost a great person but I know he is where there is no pain, sorrow or cruelty. He is in his own paradise in heaven looking down over all his loved ones and friends and will be waiting for us all to come join him when our time is up. With open arms he will welcome us and tell us not to fear. He has been through a lot over the past few years and just when he found happiness God had a new plan for him. My sympathy goes out to Ursula, her son Josh, Steven's sons Michael and Nick, Steven's sisters Marsha and Carolyn and Steven's mother Margie.

"Hail Mary full of grace, the lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

To Mrs Marjorie Age, Ursula, Michael, Nick and Josh: My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Steve was unlike anyone I have ever met. I consider it such a blessing to have worked with him at Abbott. It is no secret that Steve was passionate about his work, but this paled in comparison to the love and adoration he had for the 5 of you and the rest of his family. Steve's face would light up as he shared wonderful stories about each of you and his words taught us all about the significance of family. Steve had an unparalleled appetite for life and he went around this world spreading Faith, joy and laughter to every person he encountered. We are all better people having known Steve.

I had the great fortune of getting to know Steve as we both joined a new hospital sales team at Boots. We had so many great times together and I will always remember his strong faith. I know that Steve is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that he is looking over all of us right now. Steve was a good, good man and so much fun to be with. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his famiy and friends.
God Bless!

To the Age family, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was such an amazing man; dear to everyone he would meet. He always shared his passion for Christ, for life, his family, and his work. As a coworker, I spent many days and nights with him at meetings, on phone calls, and prayer times. Michael and Nicholas, I heard stories about both of you, told in the humorous way unique to your Dad.

To his friends and colleagues, what a bundle of joy we had in Steve, Amen? Sweet Mother of God! Anyone he met he would befriend, encourage, entertain, pray for or invite into our prayer group. He was a spiritual inspiration.

For the Lord, it was the littlest ones, the helpless ones that God put on Steve’s heart. He prayed for them, lobbied for them, mourned for them. God decided to take Steve home, perhaps to be with them. When God is ready to act, we are not ready to receive it. Who would not have wanted to talk or visit with Steve one more time? I would have.

Jesus declares, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Amen, Brother Steve, Amen.

To the entire Age Family and Ursula-
I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies go out to you. I worked in the same District with Steve for 5.5 yrs with Art Wannage and knew him since Boots thru Abbott. He was a great friend. He spoke of his family often. So many of us will always remember: his stories of the boys growing up and how proud he was of you,
the farm and his many stories of his church community, his passion for Chrisianity, his committment to his job---as he always won the annual trip & ranked right up at the top no matter what territory he was given, his wonderful sense of humor and compassion for people, and his new love, Ursula. Ursula, my heart goes out to you. I wish we had met but maybe we will someday. He's now your own Guardian Angel. May his spirit give you strength. He will be truely missed by many. I feel lucky to have been a friend of Steve's. He made me laugh and will always put a smile on my face when I look toward heaven knowing he's up. May Grace and Peace be yours in Abundance. Love and Hugs-

Good Bye Steve...I enjoyed our times together at company meetings. We had great chats on the phone through the years. Steve was an excellent sounding board.
Steve would always ask when I was coming to see relatives in Fort Myers so he could drop by for a visit. He had a warm and friendly disposition. His open and sharing personality won my in-laws over right a way and they were thankful for his visits. His ability to communicate his deep belief in Jesus during these visits was appreciated.
Steve, I will miss you old friend.

My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the family in the passing of your loved one. I was very shocked and saddened by the news of Steve's sudden passing. I along with many of Steve's former co-workers have many fond memories of the years of knowing and working with Steve.

Steve was so compassionate about people and had a real zest for life. He never missed an opportunity to encourage a fellow Christian in a time of need, and that is my fondest recollection of his kindness because he always displayed that quality to me through our company prayer group. I count it a privilage to have been aquainted with him for 20 years through the many aquisitions of our original company, Boots Phamaceuticals.

Dear Age family, continue to cherrish the many memories in the days ahead and know that many are praying for your strength all over the U.S. I will truly miss my brother in Christ. May God bless you all.

I first met Steve in the fall of 1980, having just been hired at Boots Pharmaceuticals. He was always full of life and enthusiasm. It is no wonder that he had such a successful career, bringing passion an sincerity to everything he did. Over the years it was always a pleasure to visit with him at our meetings and catch up on our lives.

I am deeply saddened that Steve passed at the point that he was in position to enjoy retirement and a new wife.

In later years, our conversations centered on the goodness of the Lord. Steve loved the Lord Jesus and was a faithful servant.

The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I am sure that Steve has Peter or Paul cornered somewhere in Heaven asking questions and telling them what he thinks.

My condolences to Ursula, Michael, Nicholas and the entrie Age family.
