MUNCIE - Bironas, Dennis Keith, 63, of Muncie, IN, formally of Kokomo, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 11, 2013 at his home.
Dennis was born March 28, 1950 in Louisville, KY, to the late Joseph and Thelma H. (Kintner) Bironas; He graduated from Louisville Fern Creek High School in 1968 and went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering at Purdue University. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He worked for 40 years as an engineer for Delphi in Kokomo retiring in 2008. He held several US patents through Delphi. Dennis also held his commercial pilot license and enjoyed flying. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners Pilots Association and the Amateur Radio Relay League. He also enjoyed computers and electronics.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Bironas; three children, Heather Veintecher of Scottsdale, AZ, Nichole Hedges (husband Matt) of Roscoe, IL, and Rebecca Davis (husband James) of Albany, IN; three siblings, Joseph K. Bironas (wife Mary) of LaGrange, KY, Joan H. Thomas (husband Joe) of Kokomo, and Larry W. Bironas (wife Anne) of Goshen, KY; sister-in-law, Velda J. Goodwin of Louisville, KY; and 15 grandchildren, Isabel and Olivia Veintecher, Lucy, Ava, Sophia Clair, Nickolaus Alexander, Grace Nicole, and Kaleb Hedges, Max and Mason Miller, and Libby, Isabella Mae, Dana Kathleen, Gabrial Lee, and Jay Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Calvary Christian Center, 5401 W. Hessler, Muncie, IN, with Pastor Ty Thompson officiating. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd., 3, Muncie and also one hour prior to services Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, 6415 Castleway W. Drive suite 114, Indianapolis, IN 46205.

Pam, I just caught up reading some newspapers that I hadn't had time to read. I'm so sorry to hear about Dennis. If I would have read it at the time, I would have made the trip to Muncie to offer my condolence.
