Lodessa M. Wisehart "Dessie" Bogard


WISEHART, 86, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Norton Hosparus Palliative Care Unit.

She retired from Jefferson County Public Schools where she worked as a teaching assistant. Dessie also worked in the box office for Preston Drive In and the South Park Drive In movie theatres.

Dessie was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Louise Wisehart; husband, George R. Bogard; son, Mikel Dale Bogard; and brother, Tilford Wisehart.

Survivors include her son, Daryl R. Bogard; grandchildren, Andrew Bogard, Robyn Durkin and Anna Marshall; sisters, Wanda Meany and Edna Cole; as well as many extended family members.

Funeral services for Dessie will be held 9 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be noon - 8 p.m., Wednesday at Ratterman's.
