Redman, Paul Adrian, Jr.,

of Okolona, was called to heaven on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the age of 85.

Mr. Redman was born in Larue County to Mary Florence Edlin and Paul Redman, Sr. After moving to Louisville, he graduated from Jeffersontown High School. Paul spent his life working in all areas of construction. He was the foreman that led construction on many schools and buildings, most notably the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Louisville. Later in life, he was a real-estate broker and a small business owner. He could take a piece of wood and turn it into a beautiful piece of furniture for his family to cherish. Paul was a member of Community Church of Christ and an avid bowler and fisherman until his health began to decline.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents and sisters, Eunice Redman Poticney, Lois Redman Tyler.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife and caretaker Connie "Carolyn"; children and step-children, Sandra West (Everett), Timothy Redman (Judy), Danny Floyd (Patty), Jimmy Floyd (Kim), Gary Floyd (Janet), Sheri Williams (Steve), Lisa Caldwell (Mike Allen) and Tonya Artman (Jeff). He was the Grandfather to 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with entombment in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. and on Thursday after 9 a.m. until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.

The family requests donations be made in Paul's honor to the "Building Fund" at Community Church of Christ, 5619 Larkgrove Drive, Louisville, KY, 40299.
