Louisville - 35, died Saturday. Survivors his mother Darlene "Faye" Colbert, fiance, Katie Everage, son and four daughters. Visitation 11-1 Saturday March 24, 2018 . Funeral to follow at 1 pm at City Church International 1100 S. 26th Street W.T. Shumake & Daughters in charge.

Just a little over nine months now and I'm thinking about you everyday. I did'nt see the book to sign when everyone else was ; just too beside myself in disbelief. I hope you're riding the streets of gold in a montecarlo in heaven. We'll miss you till we see you again. I love you so much.

God truly takes the best ones. Barely 2 months after losing my brother my best friend Lisa loses hers.. friends for over 25 years they are my family. Words can't express the pain I feel in my heart. Out of all the people in the world.. Why Tay? I'm praying for you all.. I know there's nothing I can say to fill the whole in your heart but just know that there is an Angel in the sky watching over you forever. I love you all.. RIP Dontay.

I have known Dontay for a few years. He was one of a kind. One of the smartest man I have ever known. All he spoke was knowledge. Always spoke about those beautiful girls n son. I am still in shock. Doesn't seem real. He didn't deserve any of this. May u rest in peace bub. We all love u.

My brother was all about his family. His 4 girls was & son was his world. I am going to miss his deep voice and the knowledge he so kindly shared with others. The reality of the loss has hit me. I pray to God that you Rest in Peace. I believe that I will see you again. You are so loved. I love you so much beyond words can say or express. I knew Dontay in high school. He was always nice and funny! I hated hearing about this unfortunate event, but I will keep his family in my prayers! R.I.P. Dontay!

My Brother was a Father first. Everything he did was for the love of his family and his children. His generosity knew no limits and he was the kind of person who would help anyone. He will forever be missed. I love you, Big Brother.
