Elise Snowberger

Louisville - Elise Snowberger passed away peacefully on the morning of Dec 10. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph; their daughters Beth Gray (Jeff), Cathy Reed (Harry), and Sharon Lillie (Jay); six grandchildren; and by her sister, Anne Kappel.

Elise taught English for 27 years at Holy Trinity School and was a longtime member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church. She loved quilting, square dancing, needle work, and stained glass. She enjoyed Road Scholar trips, especially the intergenerational ones with her grandchildren. Elise was also a member of the Silver Notes Chorus.

A funeral service will be held at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Ln, at 11am on Monday, December 17, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2-8pm, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
