Kenneth Gordon Stewart

New Albany, Indiana - KENNETH GORDON STEWART, 91, passed away Saturday November 10, 2018 at the Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. He was born in New Albany and was a retired Machine Operator for the Phillip Morris Company. He was an avid collector of anything that was Shirley Temple and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Kenneth was the feature of a documentary film made about him in 2014 titled: "The Trick to Escape a Strait Jacket". He was preceded in death by his parents: Mary Belle and Grover C. Stewart, his brother: Roy E. Stewart and his sister: Winifred "Winnie" Espin.

Survivors include:

His niece: Mary Nakamura(Noboru "Nick"), and her children: Nic Nakamura(Michelle) and their son Zander, Roselyn "Rosie" Nakamura(Bryan Brousseau), and Autumn Neal(Joseph "Joe").

A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at 11 AM Thursday November 15, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church: 2796 Charlestown Rd.) with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 - 8 PM Wednesday at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) and from 10 - 11 AM Thursday at the church before the service.
