Caulk, Charles,

Charles Caulk, age 71 of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father September 26, 2017. Mr. Caulk was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 7, 1946 to the late Henry and Marie Caulk. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church and a retired Auxiliary Operator for White Castle. Mr. Caulk was a very thoughtful and caring man. He was a generous man and would give the shirt off his back if he thought someone needed it. Most of all he loved his family unconditionally; Mr. Caulk will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tommy Caulk; brothers, William "Bill" Caulk and Benny Caulk; and his sister, Jeanette Caulk.

Mr. Caulk leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Caulk; daughter, Lisa Smith (Michael); 5 grandchildren, Christopher Reinhardt, Brandon Caulk, Tyler Smith, Matthew Smith, and Alyssa Morgan; 3 great grandchildren, Bentley Caulk, Hadley Caulk, and Sadie Reinhardt; a brother, Joe Caulk; 2 sisters, Belinda Wilson and Cathy Weber; his mother-in-law, Mary Gibson; and a host of other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 Friday, September 29, 2017, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 4211 Jim Hawkins Drive, Louisville with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy 44 east one mile from Bardstown Road). www.subfuneralhome.com
