Louisville - Dorothy "Dottie" King, 90, entered Eternal Life Friday, August 10, 2018.

Dottie was born in Louisville to the late Joseph and Lillian Clark. She was a dependable and hardworking employee at Corhart Refractories serving the company for 37 years. She formerly worked at Spalding Laundry and Clayton and Lambert.

She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. She participated in a number of different ministries, especially the SAWS of St. Athanasius. She will be remembered most as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim King; daughter, Jackie Thomas; siblings, Joseph Clark, Mary Wagner, and Earl Clark.

Survivors include her children, Judy Savage (Jerry) and Eddie McCullough (Pat); sister, Helen Peay; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; beloved nephew Rick Wagner.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Her funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at a later date.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to Hosparus for the love, care, and support given to Dottie by their passionate doctors, nurses, and staff.
