Ira B. "Rocky" Rockenbach, 81, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on August 7, 2017 at Baptist East in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on May 28, 1936 at the family farm in Waverly, Nebraska to William and Anna Rockenbach and was the youngest of six siblings.

He worked as a plant manager for Frito Lay and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, eventually taking a job as an Insurance Agent for American Family Insurance, where he ran an agency in Floyds Knobs for over 20 years with his wife Marjorie working alongside him.

Rocky loved playing the piano and guitar and singing, and was known for his good natured sense of humor and concern for others. He had a deep affection for animals and the outdoors, and cherished time spent with loved ones. He was a loving father and husband, who is survived by his wife, Marjorie, two daughters and their spouses Pamela and Rick Flock, Ann and J.P. Schmitt, and one son and spouse Stephen and Tre Rockenbach, and grandson, Jamie Flock.

Cremation has been chosen by the family with no service to follow. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
