James Troutman Irvin Obituary
Irvin, James Troutman,

Mr. James Troutman Irvin, age 83, of Fairdale returned to his Heavenly Father on October 8, 2017. Mr. Irvin was a retired truck driver and a member of Auburndale Church of Christ. He loved gardening, hummingbirds and going to auctions. He loved his "wind-up" clocks, Ford racecars, Hummel figurines and University of Kentucky basketball. He enjoyed listening to gospel and old country music, especially the Oak Ridge Boys, Elvis and the Gaither Family. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Charles and Eula Irvin; and sister, Emily Coy. He leaves to cherish his memory, his reason for living, his loving wife, Myrna Irvin; children, Debbie Yang (Rick), Candace Clark (Jim), Jay Irvin (Kelly) and Tina Leffler (Jim); Myrna's children, Jeff and Doug Embry; grandchildren, Brandon (Michele), Autumn (David), Erica (Donnie), Brett, Leigh Ann and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Braden, Lizzy, Jacob, Kinsley and Merritt; sister, Lois Frazier; and brother, Burnice Richardson. The family will continue to be guided by his steps and our memories of being with him.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Boston Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2-8 pm and Saturday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Auburndale Church of Christ. www.subfuneralhome.com
