Amshoff, Jane Meyer,

95, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Nazareth Home.

Jane was born in Louisville, a daughter of the late Charles and Alma Paul Meyer. She served as a bookkeeper for Twinbrook Nursing Home. Jane and her late husband Elmer were founding members of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, now St. John Paul II. She was also a member of the Golden Key Club at the church and the Seniors' Club at St. Martha Church.

Jane loved to bake and share her cookies with everyone. She also loved to garden, both flowers and vegetables.

The family would like to thank the staff at Nazareth Home and Dr. Jane Cornett for their care and concern shown to our mother during her stay.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Charlie and Paul Meyer, Rose Marie Ratterman and Alma Schmitt and a daughter-in-law Elise.

Jane is survived by her children, Philip Amshoff (Melissa), Mary Ann Amshoff and Donna Olliges (Bruce); three sisters, Imelda Kargl (Tom), Sr. Eileen Mary Meyer SCN, and Anna Catherine Meyer; three grandchildren, Ben Olliges (fiancé Ashleigh), David and Elise Amshoff.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.
