Leonard Ballou Obituary
Deck was the founder of Ballou's Rental Company, a member of Beargrass Christian Church in Louisville and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was born on May 4, 1915 in Stanford, KY to the late Dexter F. and Henrie (Fish) Ballou.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte (Schreiner) Ballou.
Deck is survived by his son, Shelby Ballou and his wife, Julie, of Louisville; daughter, Marian Hales and her husband, Lloyd, of Florida; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren; and his good friends, Maxine and Norman Miller of Borden, IN.
Cremation was chosen. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at noon in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Generations Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
