She was the widow of Ed Minor Beeler, Jr., Walter Scott, Bishop William Hall, Sr. Predeceased by parents, Aretus and Flora Wilhite (nee Bryant), all eight siblings and grandson, Edward Beeler. Survived by children: Ed (Mary) Beeler, III, El Paso, TX and Sylvia (John) Pope (nee Beeler), Saint Louis; stepchildren: Elizabeth Mitchell, Timothy (Karen) Hall, Daniel (Sheila) Hall, David Hall, and Kathy (Jonathan) Tinsley, all of Louisville, KY ; grandchildren: Ernest (Maria) Beeler, Linda (Roger) Hartwig (nee Beeler), Michael (Nina) Beeler, Karen Butler (nee Pope), Anthony (Ginger) Beeler, Louis Beeler, Kamille Pope; 16 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren. Born Owensboro, KY. Moved to Louisville at age 5. Graduated from Central High School. Attended Hampton Institute (now University) and Louisville Normal School. Member, First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur (in MO). Follower of Jesus, teacher, domestic worker, avid reader (especially her Bible), quilt/braided rug maker, country music fan, dancer with Louisville Elder Sprites and honorary Kentucky Colonel. Body donated to science. No services.
