Nicole T. Lear Obituary
Lear, Nicole T.,

Nicole T. Lear, 37, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017. Nicole was born in Lexington, KY, November 28, 1979. She was the loving daughter of Darrell J. and Brenda J. Lear of Lexington. She was a graduate of Tates Creek H.S., and earned her Bachelors of Music and Masters of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Louisville. She was employed as Band Director and Music Teacher at JCPS-Frost Middle School where she shared her love of music with her beloved students. She was also an active member of Southeast Christian Church.

Nicole's enthusiasm for life was an inspiration for all. Love of family and friends was Nicole's greatest joy. Foremost in her love of family were her precious children, daughter, Madison (9), and son, Jaydon (7).

Nicole was an Honors Graduate of Tates Creek H.S, where she was President of the Anchor Club, and a guest speaker at their convention in Hawaii. Her active school years included membership in the Beta Club and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Lexington. Nicole was an accomplished musician, specializing in flute and piccolo. She was also a member of the Tates Creek HS and U of L Marching Bands.

In addition to her parents and children, she is survived by her brothers, Darrell Lear (Kim) and Kevin Lear (Jessica), both of Lexington, KY. Nicole was also blessed with a close family of aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephews. These include: aunt, Dana Lykes (Randy), and uncles: Dale Lear (Linda), Charles Lear (Jennifer), Carlton Lear, deceased, (Nadine); cousins: George Montgomery IV, Zane Lear, Natalie Lear, Noel Lear; niece, Adelyn Lear; nephews, Brayden Lear and Landon Lear.

Nicole was also blessed with many loving friends. Although impossible to list them all, a special recognition goes to the devoted friends that stood by her and helped the family through these tough times. Words cannot describe the love and support they provided in this time of need and the family deeply appreciates them. Thank you, Cara and Jason Watts.

Nicole was a loving, giving person, a great mother, dedicated daughter, caring sister and loyal friend - she will be loved forever and missed every day. Nicole was our Angel. God gave her to us and we are blessed to have her for 37 years. She returned to God with her soul at peace.

Visitation will be 9:30am-11am Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY, in the Fireside Room. A celebration of Nicole's life will be at 11am in the Chapel at Southeast Christian Church. A reception will be held at Southeast after the service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2089 Versailles Rd, Lexington, KY 40504 at 3pm.
