Pollie Hall Obituary

89, of Louisville died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was the former Pollie Baker, a native of Yerkes, KY, worked as a childcare provider in her home, was an avid Louisville Cardinal fan and was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Farmer Baker and Martha Oliver Baker; husband, Silas Hall; brothers, Pearl, Floyd and Birchel Baker; and sisters, Nancy Taylor and Winnie Perkins.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hall and Laura Dawn Hall (Noell Rowan); sons, Keith (Valerie), Ralph (Debbie), Kenny (Carol) and Kevin Hall; grandchildren, Angela Rouse (Phillip), Katie Gardner (John), Celia Campbell (Corey), Nicholas Hall (Sara), Tiffany Hall, David Hall, Billy Weber (Felicia), Nigel Watkins and Kaylyn Carrier; great grandchildren, Sophia, Caleb and Simon Campbell, Silas Hall, Alex, Aidan and Ashton Carrier; brothers, James, Sam and E.C. Baker; sister, Jean Wilson; foster children, Wanda Norman and Jewell Woosley and their families; and a host of other loving family members.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Hwy. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite animal charity.
