Kaiser , Starr Craig,

82, passed away July 26, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sophia Craig, and her loving husband of 38 years Dr. Robert J. Kaiser. Starr and Bob were married at Anchorage Presbyterian Church on August 10, 1957, and she had been an active member of that congregation since she joined in 1965; charter member of KY Heritage Quilt Society; member of Louisville Nimble Thimbles and American Quilter's Society; member of Owl Creek Garden Club; costume chairman for Anchorage Children's Theatre; volunteer for Audio Visual Studio for the Reading Impaired; volunteer for JCPS Everyone Reads program; First Mate of Louisville Power Squadron.

Starr was an avid supporter of the arts: theatre, ballet, orchestra and the Speed Museum.

Her favorite job was being mother and grandmother to a devoted family.

She is survived by her children; son Robert "Bob" Kaiser and daughter Anne Kaiser-Harryman (John); her grandchildren, Christian and Courtney Kaiser, David, Katie, and Chris Harryman; her cousins Chris Van Arsdel (Jennifer) and Susan Dvorak (Vic).

Starr leaves many loving nieces and nephews and a sister in law and brother in law, with fond memories of her as well. Special thanks to all the excellent caregivers at the Episcopal Church home, Norton Brownsboro Hospital and Hosparus.

Visitations will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 3PM-7PM at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd, East Louisville.

Funeral service at 10AM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Anchorage Presbyterian Church, 11403 Park Rd.
