Teresa Kathleen Hall Redden Obituary
Teresa Kathleen Hall Redden

Louisville - Teresa Redden passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, at the age of 71.

Terry was born on January 12, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky. She was the only child of the late Dorothy Donnelly Hall and Ernest John Hall and spoke fondly of her happy childhood. She attended St. Benedict and LaSalette Academy in Covington before earning her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Eastern Kentucky University.

Terry was thankful to have lived a very full life. Always looking for an excuse to travel, she made journeys to Europe (France being her favorite), Central America, Asia and countless destinations across the United States. She instilled a love for travel in her daughter, a gift for which she will be eternally grateful.

Some of the other joys in Terry's life were working in her garden, being a 40+ year resident of the Tyler Park neighborhood in Louisville, selling real estate for Semonin Realtors and, earlier, Parks & Weisberg, cooking for and socializing with friends and family, teaching (including at North Bullitt High School, Presentation Academy, and Assumption High School), and loyally cheering on the Louisville Cardinals and Stanford Cardinal.

Terry was loved by many and is survived by her husband, William Edward Redden, with whom she recently celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary, her daughter, Jessie Kathleen Redden (Justin Waldie), and her beloved granddaughter, Vivian Kathleen Waldie.

Memorial gifts may be made to the . A celebration of Terry's life will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 2:00 PM. Please contact friends or family for location.
